There is a small selection of hotels in Andros and we chose the Aegea Blue Resort. From the port, we rented a little car and drove for about half an hour to get to the Aegea Blue Cycladic resort which is located to the northeast remote part of the island. The resort consists of little houses that are supposed to look like a typical local Greek village. The resort has one restaurant, one pool, and access to a beautiful beach with really clear blue waters. The rooms were all really spacious, with a bedroom, a bathroom, and a separate living room. Some had a balcony and some rooms were leading out on a terrace with lovely views over the estate and the bay. The beach has pebbles, sunbeds, a little restaurant, and the most beautiful waters. The pool had a good size and was equipped was great sunbeds and umbrellas. All meals were served at the main restaurant in the middle of the resort and for the most part, the food was really good. Home-cooked and served as a menu by the small on-property team. All in all, it was a small operation and felt very familiar and cosy. Although we were unlucky with the weather, we did enjoy our stay. The staff tried their very best to accommodate all guests wishes and requests and we can wholeheartedly recommend this resort!
