Visit Treviso
On our first day, we drove to the town of Treviso. It is the capital of the province of Treviso and part of the Veneto region. The town has approx. 85.000 inhabitants of which about 3.000 live within the Venetian walls in the historical and monumental center. Treviso is a pretty, typically North Italian town with many historic buildings, lovely small alleys, great shopping, many cafes, bars, and restaurants. Somehow we spent the whole day here, walking, shopping, eating, and drinking. A beautiful first day back in lovely Italy.
