Prague is a city with so many different things to do and see and I have a few favourites so far. Last winter, we had the chance to visit the Strahov Library. And not only visited it, but we also had a guided tour, which I would absolutely recommend doing. It is a monastery and historical library with stunning ceiling frescoes, exhibits and soo many books.
I think everyone else should visit the Lennon Wall, which became a sight by chance. The wall had been decorated with love poems and short messages against the regime since the 1960s. It received its first decoration connected to John Lennon, following his 1980 assassination when an unknown artist painted a single image of the singer-songwriter and some lyrics. The wall continuously undergoes change, and the original portrait of Lennon is long lost under layers of new paint. Today, the wall represents a symbol of global ideals such as love and peace.
And then you, of course, have to visit Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and so many more. Always worth a visit if you ask me...
