Last days of summer in Croatia

Summer in Vienna was great, and quite long this year. But we missed the sea, the view of the ocean and especially that unique seaside smell which just makes me happy.
So we booked a week off, got organised, packed the car and drove south. One of the beauties of Vienna is its location in Europe. The city is located quite far east and south, and one can easily drive to the Adriatic sea in under six hours. Croatia and specifically Istria, was our destination for the second time this year and here we have our top picks for a few fabulous days by the seaside.
