This is us
AnotherFineStory is a blog about travelling and about the city we currently live in. We are Alex and Carmen and travelling is a huge part of our life, for pleasure and for work. Here we are sharing our experiences from those journeys in words and in colour. Alex is a freelance photographer and web designer and I work in the hotel industry. This Travel Blog is our passion project where Alex designed and built the page, took most photos and I plan the trips and write the content. We mostly travel together and he even joins me on some work trips whenever my schedule and his workload allows.
For many years, we lived and worked in Berlin (that's where we met), so there is a lot of great Berlin content to be found here. During winter 2017/18, we lived in Montenegro for a work project before we decided to leave Berlin in 2019. That´s when moved to Venice, Italy and got to experience life in this very unique and special town. Look out for our Venice content as we sincerely hope you like our little insider view into the world´s most romantic city. From Venice, we moved to Vienna right before the lockdown in March 2020 as I took on a new job. We are now adding more Vienna content as we keep exploring the world´s most liveable city more and more. We have obviously experienced a different Vienna due to the lockdown and restrictions due to the pandemic. But nevertheless, we found many entertaining things to do and see and hope to inspire you with our activities.
Apart from travelling and exploring, we love our dog Joschi who we adopted in 2020, our friends and families and food and wine and clothes. So every now and then we are showing you some of our favourite people, pets, places to eat and drink and things to wear too.
